The first year I called it my Santa Depression year because I was in the hole big time from going to the workshop, buying everything needed for the set, Santa's Magical gift sets and paying Santa (and renting a location that first year while my studio was being remodeled). "I purchased Larry’s Background and Floor. First of all. You won’t build both for less at 8 x 16. Second of all. The simplicity of setting it up & taking it down is amazing ( not to mention storing) for I have been doing full hour sessions all day Sat & Sun every weekend Since October 20. And doing normal sessions during the week. As I do not have different rooms to shoot in. Third. It has held up wonderful, even after being washed from last year, and put up and down. The floor I actually placed carpet pad underneath and then taped down the floor on top. Cause I love the look. I use it for many shoots, not only Santa Sessions. It is great for Seniors and everything. I have rolled wheelchairs on it and everything. Washed it , taped it back down, and it still looks like the day I first put it there. I couldn’t be more impressed. As far as looking the same as others. My clients love the nostalgic look of it. And you can build upon what is there to make it more your own. Add anything we want to make different. Larry made it so easy for us. By next year, I hope I have his other 2 backgrounds."
